The Peene-Kapitäne daycare center in Altglienicke, newly built in 2020, offers 209 places (56 nursery places for one- to three-year-olds and 153 places in the preschool/elementary section) and operates according to the Berlin Education Program within a partly open concept. The building is accessible and features various functional rooms such as a movement room, a Snoezelen room and a children's kitchen.
