The parish-operated St. Johannis daycare in Alt-Moabit cares for up to 75 children in five core groups (ages 1 year to school entry). The daycare follows a situational, semi-open approach in accordance with the Berlin Education Program, placing emphasis on language support (participation in the Sprach-Kita program) as well as on physical activity and nature-based play areas.
