The Christian kindergarten Schatzinsel is a parents' association in the evangelical free-church tradition, founded by parents in 1986 in Lichterfelde. In a family-oriented atmosphere up to 40 children are cared for in three groups; the facility emphasizes a sense of security, nurturing relationships and Christian values in everyday life.
